Apathy & Procrastination

Have you ever sat down at your computer, with heaps of things to do and couldn’t be bothered to do any of them? In fact, I have a stack of new software to review and I only managed to do 3 today before I gave up (only 68 more to go).

Well, that’s the way I have felt over the last few months.    You may have noticed that I haven’t posted for some time.  I missed posting in April and I am really annoyed about that.   I had hoped to post at least once a month, and this is probably going to be my only post this month.  In my case, the body is willing, but the brain is weak.

Please forgive me.  I’m working on it.  Hopefully I will be back on track in June.  Until then, Apathy & Procrastination is the order of the day.

  1. Hi Don

“Have you ever sat down at your computer, with heaps of things to do and couldn’t be bothered to do any of them?”

Many times and not just the computer but jobs in general, I have to be in the mood to do things and too often nowadays I can’t be bothered. Procrastination is my middle name but I couldn’t give a f… anymore.

Good to see you back posting Don, I have been visiting to check. Too many of the old gang have stopped blogging, a shame really as we had some good humour going.

Is your cricket season now over in Oz, it’s just started here?

  2. Thanks for dropping by Bill. Yes, things seem to be very quiet in cyberland at the moment. I’ve been roaming through some of the other sites but I haven’t found much at all.

Cricket finishes in March here in Oz. What a season it was. It was the wettest summer on record. I missed half the cricket season due to weather and injury and I missed the Grand Final for my daughter’s wedding.

We recently had a few days with temps of 29 and 32 C – a record for this time of year. But suddenly we had blizzards on the snowfields and 30cm (1ft) of snow. Now THAT’s climate change!
